He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyle William Spunk Heavener and Frederick Thomas Freddie Heavener; one brother-in-law, Ron Keplinger; and one nephew, Jeff Clyde Spiker. Family was important to him and he was sure to let anyone know how much he loved and cared about his family. Prior to joining Calvary Temple COOLJC, she served as a missionary, sang in choirs and served in various other ministries.
